Technology Specialist

8 hours per day/260 days per year

Salary:  $33.25 - $35.55 per hour

*postition begins June 3, 2024

 

Summary: Provide full support, repair, and record tracking of digital and analog fire/security systems. Support electronic access systems and related devices, including collaborative support of end-user client software. Provide full support, repair, and installation of security cameras and collaborative support of end-user client software. Secondary support for other electromechanical devices as required when no other support is available. Prepare all schematics and required records and help desk communications for supported systems.

180 - 219 Day Employees - Paid leave benefits include 10 days of sick leave, 2 personal leave days and 11 holidays.

220 - 259 Day Employees - Paid leave benefits include 10 days of sick leave, 3 personal leave days and 11 holidays.

260 Day Employees - Paid leave benefits include 12 days of sick leave, 2 personal leave days, 14 holidays and 12 vacation days.

Tuition reimbursement, 50% up to $450 per year for qualified expenses.

Immigration Reform and Control Act Requirement:  The recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete an INS I-9 form and must provide proof of employment eligibility prior to working.

 

Disclosure Statement and Record Check:  Pursuant to Chapter 486, Washington Laws of 1987, the recommended applicant, if not a current regular employee, will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating whether he or she has been convicted of crimes against persons listed in the law. In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the Washington State Patrol & FBI.  Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record check.
