Clinical Nurse Instructor 

Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center

Up to 76 hours from January to May

Salary: $40.00 per hour

                                                         

DESCRIPTION: Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center Medical Occupations program is currently looking for RN/LPN interested in mentoring high school nursing assistant students during the clinical phase of training.   Assist students in learning basic care skills meeting DSHS/DOH skills competency in the lab and in our local long-term care facilities. Students will have up to 20 hours of clinical competency check off in the lab and between 40-56 hours of direct care in our local long term care facilities. Attend building/district meetings and conferences as required.  Hours scheduled with nurse instructor staff at WVTSC. Other related duties.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Current RN/LPN license.  Background check.  Have worked as a NAC supervisor. Long-term care experience is a plus. Approved application with DOH/DSHS as a NAC program clinical instructor (will be completed after hire). Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
